Wow, amazing isn't it???? So glad I read this, I have a story as well and feel your pain about getting belongings back, your right seems unfair, what I'm finding is it is coming back to bite them. Stay strong.

I agree that the system fails women. especially when trying to get away from an abuser man. all people should help the women experiencing abuse from the male perpetrator. all too many times people seem to turn their heads instead of offering help to the woman trying to escape from the abuser. also, some will cover this up for the abuser so he don't get caught. shame on you to these persons who cover up the abuser's behavior. these persons should put themselves in her shoes and experience the pain and loneliness the woman feels when persons don't help right away. please everyone, help these women and be voice for them if they are afraid because of the abuser. we need to stand together and raise our voice so others can hear. this is the only way abuse and domestic violence will stop. we all need to stand up and work together in this. this is the way we can stop this awful tragedy in our world. Speak out and never stay quiet regarding this.
