I'm only 18.

Today I was slapped down & choked by a man who Is labeled "my boyfriend". I have scratches on my face, & a swollen neck. I'm not going to make this story long because he's going to call me soon and I don't want him to know I'm on this website.

First off,I met him two months ago when I was 17 and a few weeks later I turned 18. I can't say too much because I don't know if this is confidential or not.

Anyways, there was a time he stood over me and kicked me constantly, choked me continuously, pushed me very hard, and slapped me. He'll call me dirty words and tell me to shut up. He tells me what to do, what to wear, he isolated me from all my friends, and ASSUMES there's always a guy tying to talk to me. He calls the shots.

So here's the thing I left out, he's a convicted felon . He did 5 years. I met him a month after He got out. I didn't know he was like this. I'm only 18, I'm scared for my life because I know he carries something on him, if you know what I mean.

I'm suppose to be leaving to college soon but he wants me to stay , he says he's going to get me pregnant before I leave. Today I went to the sheriffs office and talked to a cop , but I didn't tell him it was me being abused. Instead I told him it was my friend. But I knew he knew it was me being abused.

To conclude this, I decided to post this because I have no contact with anyone but my family and they dont know. Im young and I'm just beginning to start my life. Therefore, knowing that there's older women on here that have been thru this, I am hoping I can get replies and advice. I'm in need of guidance right now. I'm physically and mentally traumatized . My story goes on, please don't tell me to call the cops or find a shelter because it doesn't always work. A restraining order won't stop him, he's been to prison before why not go back again? Please.
