I'm sorry you had to suffer that despicable violence but trust me, I know all too well. What hurts the most is the choking cause it can be a matter of seconds before DEATH!!!!! I've had it all...hitting, slapping hit with objects, and blocking me from leaving, verbal assaults. You name it, but because he barely bruised me it wasn't viewed the same by him...or me! But then I woke up! When he chokes you a part of him wants you to die. Glad he is getting help but that's just for him!!! You should leave before you die! I feel just as bad for you as I do myself. Please help yourself and your beautiful kids and leave him alone! I love you cause God loves us both! Be strong and be safer!

Luke warm hell by: BJ
Hi Kat, I've been there and done that! it's been said that a frog does not know it's in boiling water until-oops! it's too late. Evidently that's not your case, it appears that your hell is luke-warm. There's no harm in trying to save your marriage to work through your issues. But both parties must be willing to diligently work together. And above all bring the Lord into your marriage relationship. The Lord Jesus is well able to help you both, but you and your husband must be willing to listen to and adhere to what the Lord is saying to you. The Lord speak to us sometimes through circumstances, but usually through the scriptures, but He does speak. If you and your husband are serious about saving your marriage, it would be a good idea for both of you to pray-together. Allow me to offer this prayer. Father we thank and praise You for this family. I pray that you will work Your love in the hearts of this family, lead and guide them in wisdom and knowledge in how to conduct their affairs. Bless this husband with employment, as You have set him to be the provider for the family. We pray Your blessings in Jesus' name amen.
