Redeemed!
by: B.J

Dear K.L.C,
Your pain is real and I can feel it in your voice-the anger, pain, hostility, fear, guilt, shame, and all the rest that goes with being a survivor of domestic violence. I can understand it's hard... you are not being vindicated, even though your case has been substantiated, and the perpetrator may or may not go unpunished! But in the end you are the one whose had to go through unnecessary changes in your lifestyle. My question is where are you now? There's no timeline indicated in your writing.
Another matter is, the courts are only going to do so much. I've been in domestic violence situations also, and I plead my case to the Supreme Sovereign Judge-Almight God through His Son Jesus Christ. That is where I got justice. If you are putting your trust in man you will be let down every time. Why would you trust in man? Man is fallible. Is there anything too hard for the Lord? Trust Jesus and He will fight your battles, and you will have a new name that you will be proud to wear-Redeemed!
