I'm so sorry to hear about your broken collar bone. your story breaks my heart. I also went through domestic violence. My husband of 12 years pushed me down and broke my collar bone. I had two children at the house that were 7 and 9. I still have pain from the break 18 months later. I did have him arrested and a restraining order. I'm now divorced and it was and is a long road for me. I feel depressed a lot of the times,I feel like no one really cared this happened to me. I think some think of it as my fault which is heart breaking. It is so tough being a single mom. I live for my kids and try to do the best I can for them.

My response to a survivors story of domestic violence. by: Almeda Wolfe
Jenny, I am so sorry that you had to go thru that. It sounds like a nightmare and sadly it goes on more than people know. I know that your mental pain is much worse than the physical pain but I hope that you heal quickly in both areas, and the children that were exposed to the attack. Bless you for sharing your story, it may give another woman that may be going thru this the strength to stand up for herself and maybe even save a life. If I can do anything to help please let me know. I mean that! God bless you!
